Thumbs up Oldest/Most Miles?

Hiya everyone...

I'm pretty new to the board, been doing much lurking, learning, from everyone.

I was just curious who had the oldest trucks and most miles here?

Guess I'll start.. (I have a 98 F-150 too.)

1980 F150 Custom, 4 speed manual, I6 300, 195 on the clock, 65 on the rebuilt and 20 on the rebuilt trannie.

I'm selling it now, but having a hard time parting with it ! My step dad was the original owner and he sold it to me about 4 years ago. I've been driving it since 90 (high school memories, ya know!), so I'm kinda' really attached to it!

Any other stories?

my 92 has 175000,and about 10000 on the motor-everything else has never been touched.
my dad has an 89 with a 302 and an AOD with 210000 with the worst repair being a water pump.
my company truck is an 88 F250 with a 460 and a c-6. It has 245000 on the original engine, but i had to put a new tranny in it about a month ago.

BUILT FORD TOUGH

Thumbs up

I had an '85 F-150 4x4. Had a 351 HO and a C6. Everything was still original when she rolled over 3 years back. Everything had around 235,000 miles on it.

I don't own it but when i worked at an oil change place i use to work on a 1994 econoline delivery van with an I6. Last i saw it, it was running strong with over 375K miles on it. Engine ran great but the suspension was beat, made lots of funny noises when you drove because all the bushings were shot. But otherwise it was in good shape, they did lots of driving with it, i think it was in for an oil change once a week.

My 88 460 has 220000 on the truck, and roughly 40000 on the engine. Other then rear ends nothing else has been done.

I have a '95 F-150 S/C I6-5 Speed. Just broken in at 117,400. Repairs done to date are one rear U Joint and a clutch at 100K. Runs great hope to get 200K with few repairs.

My '88 F-150 with 5-speed 302 has 171,000 miles with nothing rebuilt. Runs like it just rolled off the assembly line.

220,000 miles all original

One of my co-workers has a 91 F150 XL XCab with the 4.9 inline 6 and 5 speed that has over 220,000 original engine, no rebuild or overhauls. Just regular oil changes and adult driving.

1988 f150 XL---Please return to original owner

If I could find this truck, that I sold in 98, I'd buy it back
in a heartbeat!!

1988 f150 XL, 300 six, 4x4, 5sp-creeper od

It had 125,000 miles on when I sold it(for a 97) , never
put a dime in it besides general maintenance(religiously).

I hauled trailers all over the western states hunting, and
locally and never ended up on the side of the road anywhere.

Had an Alpine stereo system installed in it the week after
I bought it and never had a problem with that either.

You could sleep under the hood if you had too!!

I had to touch up the fender wells on the box, but otherwise
that was the best truck I ever owned.

Don't ask about my 1997 new generation Ford f150.
Remember the incredible Hulk, you won't like me when
I'm angree.

My two cents,

That is some good mileage out of them classics trucks. My 2000 is on its way to high mileage had it since November of 99 and it already has over 56,000 miles on it. A guy I work with has a 94 F350 DRW with over 200,000 on his diesel engine.
