I went to Meineke muffler earlier today, and am very pleased with the results. I bought a Flowmaster 40 and had them just replace the factory garbage can. Since I was the only one their they answered all my questions and let me watch everything as they did it. One guy worked on it and it took him about 20 min. I walked out the door payin $150. At idle the muffler is not much louder than stock, but it has a deep tone which can be heard (sounds great). One the move in it sounds good, nice deep tone until I give it too much gas then it cant be heard over the engine, at WOT it sounds like a plane taking off very load (outside) not as loud in the cabin. I got my camcorder ready so that I can get some video clips of it at idle and fro ma chase car (so you can hear the plane takin off). Right now I just have some pics, but I hope to have the video clips tomorrow.

congrats man. before the straight pipes, i had a flowmaster cat-back and i agree, flowmasters do sound great at WOT.

 

yeah it does sound great and I believe i gained power at all rpms need ot pull somethin to really see but from racing my friends Infinity SUV it seems that I pull harder throughout the whole powerband
