I'm puuting one in my '88 F-150. Anybody have any advice for me, in little tricks I should know about? I've never done one in the pick-up before, looks easy, that's what bothers me.

 

If you have the tool, it's as easy as it looks. Just keep in mind that some will be harder than others.

Doing a tank swap I had one clip that just wouldn't release. Bud came over with his tool, same thing. I bought a different type and it popped right off. As cheap as they are, try a different type tool if you have a real hard time with one.
