I'll try to contact my nieghbor. He has 2-4 T's in his garage at any given time. He's a machinist for one of those replica companies that deals with As and Ts. Dude has model T parts all over the place

anyway, he's often not home, so I might be awhile getting back to you reguarding this.

I'm still keeping an eye out for my neighbor. Haven't seen him in a month. I have been looking.

About the T...Sorry, I can't tell you what it's worth. Maybe $5 or $6K, only a guess. The open cars are worth more, of course. Try NADA on line. The sad thing is, they're not going up in value like you think they would. They're really cool cars, but the old guys that remember them are all dieing-off. Younger guys don't want them because they can't be driven at today's highway speeds, they only go 35mph or so. They're great for putting-around and for parades though. I've had one for years, and can't decide if I should finish the restoration or make a rod out of it. Because their value isn't that high, it would cost more to restore it than it's worth. If the '27 is in good shape, and you could get it cheap, I'd go for it. That's the last year they made em, so it's the most 'refined' model. You're right...they used Nickel, not chrome. They are small though, and don't take up much garage space.
