T-bars on a 95

Where are the torsion bars located on a 92-96 F-150? I just got new tires and I need to raise the front end just a bit to keep them from rubbing. Any pics or advice would be very helpful.

Thanks,

Blaze

If I am correct it's only the newer model f150's that you can raise the front by playing with the torsion bars. I don't even know if our models had them.

if you have coil springs in the front then you have torsion bars they should be the large about 1 1/2 bars that start in the middle of the truck and go to either front A frame

The torsion bars are only on trucks with the independant front. suspensions. You probably have the twin i-beam setup, your best bet would be some spring spacers. Autozone has some cheap ones for like 5 bucks that go in between the coils, they will lift the front about an inch but it will also stiffen the ride a little. Or you could get some daystar spacers which are some bushing type things that go under the springs, they keep the original ride quality but you have to take the springs out to install them so it ends up being a 2 hour job.
