Catback finally on.

The JCWhitney HeartThrob catback split w/ resonated tips is now on. It took 3 hours. On a scale of 1-10..........
Fit-----------------9
sound-------------7 (very quiet, at idle is racey)
ease of install----7(hard to get off old stuff)
claim vs. actual---8 (not sure if its aluminized, as claimed)

Overall I'm impressed with this system! Pretty good for $218.
Resonated tips quiet things down alot so I might remove those and use straight thru tips.

I'll follow-up with test drive tomarrow. It looks narly. Was goona remove last cat but after inspection, it still is in good condition.

you'll know after it rains if it's aluminized, mine claimed, and didn't rust after a couple rains, but the brackets parts did, but not the exhaust portion

Volume increases slightly as it warms up. Definate v8 rumble, especially at 1/4 throttle. I think its not as loud as I like because it now exits to the rear.
I can hear the snake hissing sound from the 2 cone filters now, and the exhaust rumble. It's exciting. I'm gonna leave it alone for now. If I put straight thru tips on it might be a little raspy for me, might not

I sure am stabbing the throttle alot more often now. Around 40mph was my weak zone, now it pulls out of that without trouble.

Talking Need more power

At WOT it blatts like a race car. I scared the crap out of some co-workers when I went screaming by the shop door at about 3000rpms. I think the tips are staying on. At 4000ish rpms the kids run for momma
