Question Headers to replace exh. manifold

93 302 auto, 2wd. I want to replace the exhaust manifolds with bolt on shorty headers. I have about $250 to spend. Any name brand type of headers or other suggestions is appreciated.

JBA, Hedman, and Hooker all make good headers. I don't think you will find a set for under $300 though. The 302 is a popular motor, you might be able to find some used ones. Try the classifieds on this site.

Jeggs and Summit are good places to start. Summit definately has truck headers of various kinds. I think Jeggs has Dynomax. BBK has truck specifics too, but I always have a hard time finding bbk dealers on the net.

Summit brand shorties are 159.99.
Jeggs- Dynomax 209 and 309
jeggs- Flowtech 179

I have had my summitt truck headers for about 9 months and I am very happy with them so far.

ive also heard some good things about edelbrocks tubular exhaust system that replaces the exhaust manifold and the y pipe. Unfortunitly, like me, they dont make street legal ones for the 93, they make 90-92, and 94, but not 93( i tried to buy em, just to find out that they made a part num, price and everything except actual production) I then went to heddmans shorties and love em, so its up to you!

I think Flow-Tech is a sister company of Holley. Thanks for your update. I like things that bolt right up w/out problems
