Fuel Injection vs. Carburated
Hi,
A buddy of mine is replacing the block in his 90 F150. He bought a long block rebuilt, and while bolting on some of the parts from the old motor, noticed that the block he bought was from an 86 F150.
So, my question to all of you experts out there.........is there a difference between the block and heads on a carburated 302 and a fuel injected 302?
Thanks in advance!

Yeah, my buddy has an old '85 302 that's fuel injected:

As for the swap, it'll work if you keep the nessesary componets from the original motor.
