I can read your license plate in this picture. Just thought you might want to know.

Very nice truck! I'm so used to having a supercab that when I saw your picture of the sub behind your seat, it just didn't feel right! Someone stole your back seat! Great place for collecting empty soda cans, burger wrappers, empty cigarette packs, etc.

One question: Yours is the first Eddie Bauer I have seen that didn't have the step below the doors. Did you remove them, or are they mainly used on supercabs?

Just wondering.

Take care,
-Chris

Thanks for telling me about my plate #'s.Mine did come with the steps but I took them off about a year ago...You can see them in one of the pix in my Bug pictures.I bought the truck about 2 years ago and it was a bit of a mess...It looked like someone was off-roading and bottomed out right on the steps...they had appeared to look fine but up close the fiber glass was cracked and the bottom of them had large scrapes in them.Personaly I like it better w/out them.I'll put them back on or maybe some smitty's after I raise it.

the maroon on your truck is the same as mine. My other color is silver...not as nice as your E.B. color sceme.

Do you know the name of that color(maroon--what ford calls it)? I can get anything matched at NAPA, I just have to know the name.

It's called "Dark Toreador Red".
Eventualy I'm going to get the copper painted black..probly after I raise it cuz I think it will look good with black fender flares and a set of black rims I'm getting within a few weeks when I get tires. My girlfriend and friends don't like the idea but I do.

inski21-

Check the Exterior Paint Colors code on the VC label inside your drivers side door jamb (the letters above it are the code(s). Post them here.

Take care,
-Chris

Thumbs up

Thanks. I can head over to the dealer to figure the EH. I still don't know whether or not to paint my bumper and nerf bars to match. It kinda looks retro now. Maybe I'll paint them copper like Sprocket_Xs Eddie Baurer...I don't know.

I got rid of my chrome rear bumper and replaced it with a low-gloss black one. I figured my back bumper stood the best chance of getting nicked.

No regrets yet!

Take care,
-Chris
