I've got small scratches down the side of my truck...looks like from the previous owner going through bushes or trees...none of them or down to the metal...I've tried "Meguiars" polish but that didn't do anything...anyone have any suggestions for anything else I should try? It's my girlfriends prom this Saturday so it's a good enough excuse to start cleaning up the beast.

 

try using an eletric buffer with some 3M buffing compunnd then buff some wax on just be sure to keep the buffer moving so you dont burn up your paint

 

thats right..I forgot to mention I have an electric buffer.

 

Thanks wolf_creek_61 the 3m worked great. I also got some touch-up paint from the dealer so the trucks paint looks great. I bought some wax callled Zymol so I'll give it a try tomorrow if it doesn't rain.
