Unhappy Carb Questions 1979 F250

I need help. I have a 1979 F250 and the previous owner did some creative things with the carb. I really dont want to buy a service manual unless I have to. I was wondering if someone could send me a pic or a page from their manual via e-mail? What I need to know is where the springs go that connect to the carb.

PLEASE HELP!!!!

What engine, carb, and tranny do you have?

Take care,

Cool

Thanks for replying. I am on the road right now, but I know that it has a 351 engine in it. I will check on the tranny and the carb when i get home.

Thanks,

More info

From what I can tell it is a C6 tranny with a double barrel carb it had a tag on the carb that said 9V. I am going to try to put a new heavier spring on the throttle return I think that this will help solve my problem.

Thanks,

Ralph
