You know I love the overload springs I have them on my 85 but the only thing I dont like about it is if you hit a real good pot hole or speed bumb, (hard of course) the U bolts on the ends pop off. Maybe it is just the way I have them adjusted but mine pops off about 1 every 2 month.... just a little info....

tighten them up a little . . mine havent popped off and i aint never seen a set pop off . maybe ya got them to loose?
