while the nose is off i will fix what needs to be fixed as well as i am now considering rebuilding the 351 for more hp. anybody need parts let me know. the engine, tranny, tcase i will be removing and selling. i only need the nose and a couple of things. but the major stuff is going. engine is strong and the tranny shift well.

Funny you should ask. One of my best friends, who happens to work at Hawaii Racing, bought a totalled Bronco, and has been putting back together. I just called him, to see what he still needed. His parts-needed list consists of items that would be cheaper to find here, because of the amount it would cost to ship from N.Y. to Calif. (front bumper, windshield, back glass, drivers seat, etc.). But, he there were a couple things he needs that you might be able to help with. He needs the seal that goes between the shell and the cab, and most importantly, all of the required hardware necessary to attach the shell to the truck. Let me know if you can help.
Thanks!
Take care,
-Chris

hey all,
donate the transfer case is good. i checked it out. what model it is i don't know right now. i really don't know how much they are worth so make me an offer and i will let ya know. i'm not into arguing over a few dollars so i don't think it would be a problem.
chris, the front bumper i need cause i am swaping the noses. the winshield has a small crack so i don't think he is gonna want that. i have to get a good look to see about the seat, i was thinking of swapping that into my truck but i am not too sure about that. going from a bench to buckets. maybe!
the rear glass is good and i will sell that as well as the associated hardware with the gasket and shell. make an offer chris, what ever is reasonable i will except. like i said i just want to get rid of it and if i can help some guys out with parts in the meanwhile well then so be it.
here is the vin number to the bronco so you guys can see what it has as far as tranny , engine and tcase. 1FMEU15N8NLA21460
please post what you find out about the bronco. i just got it for the nose and misc. stuff. so you would be informing me as well.

sprocket, while i will agree a bronco is nice and fun to go wheeling with, it is easier to rebuild the 89 as opposed to doing a engine, tranny swap into the bronco and fixing what it may need like a front end. the wheel base' are not much difference if any and i would rather wheel with my truck.
for one the bronco has shift on the fly, i don't like that. my new truck has it but i am not wheeling with that. i like manual locking hubs, i like the stick on the floor. i am more of a pickup guy. plus i already have my truck lifted. so

My buddy doesn't want to pay the shipping for anything heavy. Maybe I didn't make that clear. The only parts of yours he's interested in is the shell hardware and gasket (not the actual shell, though). The rear glass sounds tempting, but shipping wouldn't be cheap.
I'll ask him sometime today to make an offer, and I'll let you know.
Take care,
-Chris

Okay
Hey Curt-
Jim doesn't even want to take a chance on the glass, but he said he'll send you $20 cash for the roof hardware and the seal/gasket. That has to cover the shipping, too. He asked me if you owed me any favors, implying that I could save him even more money, but that pissed me off, so I told him to make it $30. He usually gives in, and did this time. So, we've got $30 cash if you're interested. Please let me know.
