where is this leak coming from?

i just got done replacing the water pump, radiator hoses, and thermostat and when i filled the radiator back up with coolant i noticed its leaking out of the engine's driver side. its not a little leak either, its a pretty big stream! the engine didint have this problem before i changed the pump, though. i cant tell exactly where its coming from, but it looks like its right around where the motor mount is on the driver's side. im thinking its the freeze plugs, could it be anything else? someone told me it could be a cracked block, but i dont think thats it since the engine runs perfectly except for the temp. anything else it could be? how hard is it to change freeze plugs? im guessing im gonna have to pull the engine up a couple of inches to reach 'em, right?

I did my t-sat the other day and same thing happened to me..was coming out just as fast as it went in...turns out I didn't have my t-stat in the elbo lips good enough(on a 4.9L atleast) so I have to take it all out again and get a new gasket and I redid it...it's hard to get the t-sat to stay in the lips of the elbo while I turn it to bolt it down so I put a dot of crazy glue to hold it in place.

i know what you mean, i just put a little bit of gasket sealant around the edge of the t-stat to hold it in place while i install the elbow. works pretty good .
