Batch fire vs. Sequential injection

Post what you have. Trying to figure out if the theory Chris (Pkrwud) posted in another thread is correct. Post any of the following info you have...

Year
Engine
Mass air or Speed Density
Transmission
MPI or SFI
EEC code if known

Year and engine are obvious, mass air trucks have only one tube and a mass air sensor just before the air box. Transmission code is on the door label. As for MPI or SFI the easy way to tell is look at the injector wires. I'm fairly sure all trucks use red as one of the wires on each injector. If the truck is MPI it will have only two other color wires going to the injectors. If it is SFI it will have eight different colors. Easy to look at the injectors on the drivers side as they are in the clear. Also I found on my truck that the under hood label has a small line of stuff on the bottom that lists pollution equip. On mine it has a list of stuff such as EGR/AIR/ETC/SFI.

Just for the record my truck is as follows....

1995, 302, Mass Air, 4R70W, SFI, HUG2

I'll compile the info and put it together. If anyone checks out any other sites, see if you can get info from these people as well. TIA

all mass air engines have sfi, right? so if im mpi, that means that converting to mass air will also convert my engine to sfi? just wondering.
