Ok, since i don't know where to find forums for a 97 f150, can i ask u all? My friend has a 1997 F 150 5.4 v8 extended cab 4X4 automatic, and wants to know what rear axle he has, the code under "axle" was 9 B6, could someone please help me/us?

try www.f150world.com if you can't get an answer here, those guys all have newer 150's so they may be able to help you out.
