I have a '92 Supercab 5.0. I was underneath and noticed the rubber return line for the power steering had a deep gouge from where it had rubbed on the steel cooling tubes. The rubber section of the hose was wedged between the steel tube and the frame. I bent the steel tube slightly away from the hose so the new one won't wear.Power steering return line rubber hose is only $3.86 a foot at Ford. Looks like about 16" long. Lot cheaper than a tow and possible pump replacement. Thought you guys might see the same problem on yours.
