My poor little baby!!!

I wrecked my poor 95 F-150 on Friday. A lady in a 95 Taurus was waiting to turn left i put on my breaks and they locked up!!! I'm supposed to have ABS but they failed. So when the breaks locked up it hydroplaned on the slick asphalt and i ran into the back of her. Her trunk is now in the passanger's side front seat! I think it totaled her car. Oh well... no one was hurt and good thing I had full coverage!

Maybe you should check to see if they installed BRAKES on your truck instead of BREAKS...he he he

Sorry to hear that,Glad to hear everyone was ok.
I hope you get things squared away.
I think you only have abs on the rear tires on a 95 truck. I can lock mine up too.

ABS only on the rear ones??? What's the point of that if the front ones just lock up?

I never really understood it either, I know the bronco's had 4 wheel abs. I don't know why the fullsize trucks didn't get it.

Tough hit.
Looks like mostly plastic damage. I think the rear abs is to keep the truck from rotating while skidding to a stop.

I was in a similar crash, wrinkled my bumper...I got new Smittybilt tube bumper in front. Same wreck, Kia comitted suicide on my rear bumper. Poor thing, don't they know I-beam bumpers don't give?!

I know your pain.

good thing no one is hurt...Ford trucks are built like tanks....but I can't say the same with their cars...a escort rear ended me and ended it's life last year...a week after I bought my truck....no body damage to me but a tweeked bumper..it already had a few dents so they got me a new one..score!
