Talking Call me crazy!

Ok, i just went for a ride in the f 150, i pull outta the drive, i'm feelin kinda crazy, i back out and on the highway it's still rollin about 2 or 3 mph, put it in first and let it out a little and give it gas and dump it, it starts hoppin lol, i get down the road a ways and i hear it's really loud for a 6 cylinder, turn around and back in the driveway, i got an idea, exhaust! so i look under it and the exhaust right after the catyl's comes undone! It slips right back on though, so i'm gonna go ahead and order flowmasters force 2 dual exhaust good reason to buy huh?

If you want, I'll stop by your place and loosen a couple of your manifold bolts. Then you can justify getting some headers...

You're crazy! Hey, you asked for it, anything for someone on the boards...
Flowmasters should sound killer! Good luck with whatever you decide to do with the exhaust.

when my exhaust came off of the cat it didn't seem loud enough for me. I thought it would be unbearable, but wasn't excessively loud at all. I wonder if no muffer(s) would be more to my liking.

I've got an Edelbrock cat-back on my truck (300ci IL6), and it definately sounds better. A whole lot better. But it still doesn't sound like a V8, and it never will. The science involved makes that impossible, so don't go into this with unatainable expectations.

Take care,
-Chris

That is a very good reason to get a new exhaust system for your truck.
