Looked them all over...and well there is still a little dirt on the bottom of the axle!

nice ride . wished my 90' looked that nice . going to paint it this summer i think . anyhow was checking out your picks . i removed that snorkle thing and cut the complete bottom of the air filter box out . make for better flow and sounds alot better at WOT.....

 

i like that airbox idea, kind of like a homemade FIPK. you dont have any trouble with water getting in there?

Is that the stock paint?

 

you have no idea how many people have asked me if thats the stock paint , and yes it is stock. as u can tell, i try to take care of it as much as i can. it looks real good, except for a few light scratches going down the side of the bed (from scraping against trees whenever i go off road every now and then), and theres a paint crack in the hood(which is starting to rust), but im hoping to get a fiberglass hood anyway so its all good.

 

just did the air box mod yesterday . it hasnt rained here in awhile . i'll let you know next time it does ...lol....if it does i will make some kinda splash guard . i can sure tell the difference tho just updated my gallery . added some pics of the air box mod and the crankcase filter i put on it .

i looked at your gallery and i like your airbox mod. i dont think any water would get in tehre since your mod works a lot like an FIPK, but who knows. i might give it a shot!

Quite frankly, if anyone drives through water that deep, they deserve to have the engine hydro-lock! I don't see it ever being a problem.

well i wont be driving through any deep water ..lol. but it s'pose to rain tomorrow . will let ya know if it gets wet at all.

 

well it rained today like a herd of cows pissin on a flat rock ....lol....no water got to my filter and i hit a few "puddles" just to make sure ...
