Need help for slightly embarassing problem...
I checked the oil in my '88 F-150, and it needed a quart. But I can't get the oil cap off!!!! This has NEVER been a problem before...EVER. I always liked the oil cap because it seemed impossible to overtighten, and was always easy to get off. I was on top the front end with both hands and I still couldn't get it...does anybody have any suggestions?
Thanks
Thanks
My original cap stripped internally at an early age, and was replaced by Ford. I had to use a screwdriver between the valve cover and the bottom of the cap, and apply upward pressure while turning.
Take care,

I think this might be more embarassing....earlier today I got my truck cleaned inside and out and I guess the cleaner guy twisted my headlight/dash dimmer **** while cleaning,so I get in my truck about an hour ago and I notice my dash lights are dim so I turn them all the way up like I normal have them but the **** clicked when I twisted it and my dome light turned on.....well I've had the truck for about a year and a half and I just found this dome lights switch...I thought it only went on when I opened the doors, but I was sitting there all excited I found this new switch but my girlfriend was just looking at me like I was a dumbass but oh well,I can turn on my dome light with my left hand now I'm excited now matter how others put me down!
Feel free to tell me any other switches/or tricky things I might not know about...it's so exciting, kinda like finding money in a old jacket!
