stupid me

Thought I'd tell everyone about what I did to my truck today (96 f150 eddie baurer..aka "The Beast") Well I'm on my lunch break at work (Pacbell) and I'm driving down the street to "In and Out" for all you non-Californians it's the best fast food ever..anyways I'm crusing down Vanuys Blvd and I'm in the right lane and I see a UPS truck pulled off to the side but still partly in my lane up ahead so I go to switch lanes and I see a newer model f150 in the next lane..*snuffs* so I can't get over and by that time I was to close to the UPS truck to stop so I just went for it..trying to squeeze "The Beast" between the UPS truck and other f150 but I didn't get through without a sacrafise...my pasenger side mirror comitted suicide with the ups truck!! my mirror hit the truck at about 40mph and all's that happened with it folded it in so I popped it back out...there is no dent nor scratch on the other side!!!amazing..the only damage was the glass part of the mirror cracked..I already ordered that from ford for $35..not bad...Just thought I'd tell everyone bout that...personaly it's amazing by how hard I hit it and how bad it sounded and so little damage I had.

That's good to know!

You're half right about In-n-Out Burger. They are the best food in the world, until 1am. After they close, Tommy's on Victory, just past Van Nuys Blvd, is the best.

Take care,
-Chris

I did that on a tight road once. Didn't break the mirror glass, and couldn't believe nothing else touched.

And a big thanks to both of you for bringing up In-N-Out Burger.. I didn't have any lunch, and I live on the east coast now.

Besides, what other place has bumper stickers that you can just cut two letters off and have one that says "In-N-Out Urge"?

The very religious owners of In-N-Out Burger finally caught on to that, and re-designed the bumperstickers a few years ago. Sucks! I once cut up several, and made a sticker that said "BURNING RUBBER". I miss those stickers. I wonder if there are any on eBay. Hmmmm.

Take care,
-Chris
