Question CHIP...Is is worth the money?

I have a 1995 ford f-150 regular cab with the 351w v8. I would like to know if getting a chip is really worth it. I would like a little more power, but I have no experiance when it comes to using a computer chip. Is there a noticable differance in preformance? Should I get a chip or put my money elsewhere (exhaust, FIPK). I will probably get all the mods sooner or later, but should I wait and do the chip last?

Is there any other mods that you guys can give me that will give me a noticable preformance differance, but won't hurt my wallet.

Thanks!!

2) Cat-Back
3) ECM Chip

Take care,

Chris,

Is your chip a custom burn? If so, was it based on information they already had or your info? Just curious...

If I ever get some time and get off my butt, I'll find out what my code is after I unbolt the parking brake bracket! I want a tuner, but have decided I won't swap computers to do it. If I have an unsopported code (please no!) I'll just go with a chip.

The fipk for that truck i think is just a filter. i am almost positive that k&n used the stock hoses and just attached them to the filter plate. getting rid of that stupid airbox.

It was called a "Custom" chip, but was based only on my ECM code, not any individual mods. It's kind of a deceptive name, now that I think about it, but that's what they called it.

Take care,
