Unhappy Air Bag

I have a 1994 Ford 150 XLT, and the problem is a flashing seat belt/airbag light on my dash. It appears to be flashing a 32, three then two and the cycle all over again, what does that code mean???
It does not flash all the time, and my horn and cruise still work, and how do you remove the unit to check or replace if needed???

It means there is an open connection in the drivers side air bag circuit. I would remove it and then inspect the wiring. To remove it, disconnect the battery at the negative cable, and then turn on the headlight switch to drain any capacitors. After 2 minutes, turn the headlight switch off, and remove the air bag . This is done by removing the 4 10mm nuts at the rear of the steering wheel. You will need to remove the upper and lower steering column covers to complete this.

Take care,
-Chris

sound's like the clock spring is bad. most of the time. it's the clock spring that goes bad. and you can not look at it. to see if it's ok. you need to test it. from connector to connector. disconnected at both end's. when you have the steering wheel off ther is one end. you can get to the other end under the column area. check the ohm's see if you have a open. but make sure you do as pkrwud say's. you dont want power there when your testint that. i would bet it's the clock spring. i have replaced several of those. it's kinda rare for the bag it's self to go out. and if you haven't been under the dash doing any wireing job's like adding any aftermarket stuff. it's most likely the clock spring. good luck

i'm sorry, i forgot. there is a metal tab in the bottom connector. it's called a shorting bar. it's there so when you dissconnect it. it short's the wire's togather. to help stop static concern's. so this will give you bad reading's if you do not remove it first. but you must have the air bag dissconnected before you do this. and put it back. also do not remove the one on air bag it's self. do not even try to test the air bag it's self.
