Thinking about buying a superchip for my 94 F-150 with a 5-speed and the 4.9. Just wanted to see if anyone has one of these and if its worth the money?

I was looking for one about 2 years ago, but it didn't exist, so I bought one from Jet. So far, I have no regrets. It's much peppier than it was before.

I tried to get one too but they didn't have one. I couldn't be without my truck long enough to ship them my computer.

Yeah, same here. My buddy at Hawaii Racing checked Jet and found they had one for me, but he wouldn't swear by their quality. I must say, however, that I have no regrets at all.

I don't think you have to ship off your computer to get the superchip? The main reason I want the chip is to raise the speed limiter.

 

Ford puts several different versions of computers in their trucks, even in the same year. In my case my computer code was UX4 or something to that effect. They didn't have a program made to run with that computer yet so if i wanted a chip i would have to mail them my computer so they could create a custom program.
