hey my friend just bought an '83 f-150 4x4w/ a 460 cubic inch engin swaped into it . . . i dont know much about trucks and i am just curious how mean this truck is gonna be? what kind of horse power and torque is this thing gonna have? and how hard or easy it will be for him to modify the engine and suspension . . . also what do you recomend he do to it? he wants to put on a 3" lift what size tires and what is a good brand? just hit me w/ all your info.

Just about the only way you will find out what kind of power you are getting out of it is to take it to the dyno and have it run. If no tunig is being done, most places will run it for about $50. Kepp us updated.

 

welp i dont think he's got spair cash for a run on a dyno so you guys got any other info for him?

 

since the 460 was swapped into the truck, do you what year the engine is and how many miles its got? all stock?
