It was a pretty painless process thanks to a couple tips I dug up by searching this forum.

Just wanted to offer one piece of advice: When I was using the fuel line disconnect tool, I did NOT hear or feel a click when the spring inside the fuel line retaining piece was released. I just worked the tool as far up as I could and then the line came off.

I think it may have been in need of a change; I'll try to attach a couple pics of the old filter (I sawed it in half). Was the filter element originially white??
