Cool Rotors and Calipers

I am looking at replacing my right hand caliper again since it was replaced about a year to 1 1/2 years ago. It seems as they are not releasing completely so the next time you hit the brakes the engage first. This is what happened with the first caliper on that side. What I am looking at is a set of power slot rotors for the truck but I would like to also get another set of calipers that are BETTER than OEM since I have been having problems with these. Is there any good calipers that will fit with OEM wheels ??? I have checked Wilwood and they don't have anything for a truck unless they can cross match a set from a mustang. What about brake pads for the power slot rotors, can I use OEM type pads OR do I have to use different ones. Who makes the best pads for these rotors ??? Any help on this topic would be greatly appreciated.

The reason you are having problems is because you only replaced one caliper. Now you have one good calipar and one worn out one, that is why your braking is uneven. Always replace brake/suspension components in pairs.

Cool

Ford4ever, as much as I understand what you are saying, it has just started in the last month or so. If it happened as soon as I put the new one on, then that is what I would have thought too. Just wanting to replace them with some better stuff.

ALWAYS REPLACE BOTH CALIPERS WHEN 1 GELS BAD!!!!! The reason being the new caliper will work harder and pulsate mroe than the old one. The vehicle should have been pulling to the oppsite side of the new caliper (i.e. new caliper on right side, car should pull to the left and vice versa).
