Question Ford F-150 Acceleration?

I am getting a 1995 Ford F-150 Flareside Reg. cab with the 351 V8 (auto) and I am wondering if anyone knows if the truck will be any fast. With a chip how fast do you think I could get up to on the highway?

Lots of factors here. Condition, gearing, tire sizes, modifications.

The 351 makes good torque but doesn't breathe real deep at higher revs. As an example the 302 comes within a couple HP of the 351, but the 351 has the low end torque advantage.

Either way it should hit the speed limiter. My '95 302 truck hit the limiter en route to the hospital when my little one was born. Of course with mods it will get to that point a lot quicker now.....

The Flareside reg cab should be one of the lighter combos and has plenty of potential for a quick truck.
