rebuild, or new?

i was considering rebuilding my engine and then adding a couple of performance parts, but the costs of doing that are really high from the quotes ive gotten. turns out, for the same price i can buy a gt-40 crate engine from summit (complete with all internals, just need to add induction and exhaust). heres my question, i know that stangs and trucks have different intake manifolds, so will a truck intake fit this engine? what about the exhaust, will truck headers fit? or will i need mustang headers? im still not sure if im gonna go this route, but im just weighing my options. thanks for any help!!!

All externals from your truck will bolt to the gt-40 302. The only thing that will be different will be the timing cover, and oil pan(if it comes with one) Be sure to check what type of heads it has. If it has gt-40 heads you wil be fine, but gt-40P heads do require special headers because of the spark plug angle.

PS... GT-40P heads are also commonly known as explorer heads
