Finding a Switched Power Source on a 1990 F-150

I am installing a low power draw (<5a 12V) LED light that I would like to wire into a switched circuit. Looking for some suggestions for an easy to get to source under the hood of a 1990 F-150 with a 4.9 engine.

Thanks for any responses...

I'd look at the power feed to the coil.

Thanks for your reply. That had occurred to me as well but I remember reading that's not a good idea supposedly. Have you used that power point for such an application?

If in doubt, install a separately fused relay operated by that power wire.

Sounds like a good plan. Thanks!
