in desperate need of some help. i have a 1994 f150 302 4r70w maf short wheel base single cab. the motor slung a rod and i bought the truck and a 1993 econoline e350 5.8l with the e40d trans, i swapped the 302 for the 351 but it wasn't running right so i put the van computer in it and it ran perfect idling so i then swapped the 4r70w for the e40d trans so i could use that computer so i have the van motor trans and computer in the truck i rewired the transmission wires to work and it seems to have worked except it wont shift out into overdrive when its supposed to it acts as if it goes to neutral. just recently learned how technical e40d is but too late now so im needing someones advise and/or some schematic references to study.

 

Does it shift correctly if you turn the overdrive off?

Seems to me the 4R70W overdrive off switch is on the shift **** but the E4OD overdrive off is on the dash.

 

92+ E4OD overdrive cancel button is on the shifter.
