No crank, No Start. 95 F150 5.8

Hello all,

Recently bought a 1 owner 95 F150. No issues until recently with starting randomly. The lights turn on, radio plays but nothing happens when I turn the key. No crank no clicks nothing. Fuel pump primes and that’s it. I’ll wait 10-15 minutes and she fires up. Replaced the shift tube, it was sloppy and would need moved to get it to start when this first started. Replaced the ignition switch for hood measure also. Stopped for a few days then came back. Replaced the starter and the starter relay and cleaned the battery posts and ground to the frame off the battery. That seemed to do it for a couple days again but now we’re back to the same issue. It won’t start in park or neutral and I’ve heard that’s not the neutral safety switch so I’m out of ideas. It’s got to be a ground or wire somewhere but I don’t know where to start.

Move the lever through all positions while trying to start it. I'm betting it is in fact the neutral safety switch.

that was our original thought too but it doesn’t start in neutral or any other gear. Cycling through the gear doesn’t help it get started from what I can tell either. I’ve also gotten underneath it and wiggled the arm coming off the switch and gave it a few taps and nothing. I was told if it doesn’t start in neutral it’s most likely not the switch that is bad

Clip a jumper cable from the negative terminal to the block and try. You need a good path from battery to frame to block.
