just picked up a 91 XLT Lariat F150. 5.8L extra cab longbed. Kid who sold it to me only had it 3 months or so... and the insurance and gas was killing him. She was a hauler, and has lots of things that need fixing, but I drove her home with no real problems, and really can't wait to get working on her.

I've noticed that there's SO MUCH confusion on part numbers for these trucks... someone must have skipped that part of the build process. Can anyone verify for me what was used for retention on the gas pedal? I seem to remember a spring, but I think the cable had a better connection than what I currently have... view the pictures and let me know what I'm missing?
