Speaker wire help

Hello all,

I have acquired a truck I've long waited for, a 94 f150 xlt. Truck is mint I side and out and i am pumped. Only thing is the radio was cut out. I am trying to install a new one but my speaker wires do not match any diagram out there. Can anyone help me out please

That looks like aftermarket wire. See if you can trace it out and see where it goes.

hello, thank you for the reply, I did follow it earlier today, it leads to a silver box above the steering shaft, plugged in there. Didnt appear to be an amp, but could've been. Hope this helps

Figured it out

In case anyone else is searching forums for these wires, they are ran thru an amp. I found a blue wire tucked in the dash and hooked it to the radio and sound came out. Maybe this thread will at least help 1 person
