1996 ford bronco rear end squeak

hello i have a problem with my ford bronco. the rear end squeaks going about 15 to 40 mph. there is no play in the drive shaft so i dont think it could be bad u joints and the wheels are tight so it cant be the wheel bearings. it is real annoying any help would be appreciated.

Dry u-joints can squeak, and still have no play.

Would they gain play over time? And I'm hoping it's not something in the rear diff the guy I bought it from said it was rebuilt. It has been squeaking since I bought it 7 months ago. Could the u joints just blow out even tho they are tight or will they loosen up?
