I have seen it on here multiple times but couldn't find an exact list of needs. it's a great truck at a great price and it's going to be a build from the ground up including lift, front axle addition for the 4x4 and more. I have a 4x4 truck so I don't need to just go buy another this is a specific dream build amazing body, paint, and low miles.

96 F150 4.9 Straight Six 5 Speed
Doing a 4wd Conversion
so far I know I need:
Front Axle
Trans/transfer case
Both Driveshafts
Matching Set of gears for rear end
What am I missing

I want to keep a 5 speed transmission and want a floor shift transfer case
besides a parts truck what designation for the trans and transfer case would work, what parts am I missing that I will need?

this is usually a plug and play conversion I have seen multiple times so it won't be hard or impossible. I just need help in the right direction of what else I'm needing.

 

The transmission crossmember is specific to 2WD or 4x4.
M5OD - R2 4x4 transmission, 1356 manual shift transfer case.
