New Project truck - towing it home

I have an opportunity to pick up a 1975 Ford F250 2wd. It's about a foot too long for the car trailer I rented from U-Haul. Would I have any problems towing this with a tow dolly? I understand I will need to disconnect the driveshaft. It hasn't moved since 2005, and I'm a little nervous about towing it on its wheels. If I can flat tow it with a dolly, what should I look for before hand? This is my first project truck... I have about a 200 mile trip back home after getting it.

Thanks y'all.

Jason

I wouldn't trust the tires if it's been sitting since 2005

If you can get the rear of the truck on a tow dolly, you won't have to remove the driveshaft.
