Have a 1995 Ford f250 with 5.8 liter , sometimes it will not start , but when it does , runs fine . I am stumped , put new battery on it , seems to not be getting fuel the times it won't crank , sometimes I hear the fuel pump gin up and sometimes it is very quick short sound , no matter which tank I switch to. Any advice ?????

 

Won't crank means the engine won't turn. Check your connections. All of them, even the grounds.
Won't fire means the engine is turning but won't run. Check your fuel pressure. Check for spark.
