I have a efi 300 truck that has a bad lifter. Changing it isn't hard but I was wondering what cam I can run that will be efi friendly. Isky has a few but I'm not sure what anyone in here might recommend. Not wanting to waste money since this efi head can't be ported because of the emissions crap added to it. I have honestly been thinking of swapping the head to go back to a carb set up but honestly I just need a ranch truck to haul a couple thousand pound hay bails and that's it.

 

I'd change the lifter and call it good.
Have you tried using seafoam engine treatment to see if you can get the lifter to free up ?
