f 150 marker lights
f 150 marker lights
I have a 95 f 150 that just failed inspection and needs to have it's maker lights replaced. The inspection station offered to and then said they wee unable to get to the bulb. Seeing as they had difficulty with getting to the bulb I figured I'd post here before I dive into it once I get home. Anyone know of the best way to get to these bulbs?
TwisterTorino, if you are talking about the corner lights at the front of the truck, they are tricky to get to. They can be changed by going through the engine compartment. On the passenger side, I had to remove the battery and it's stand and maybe a couple of other things to get to the back of the bulb. On the drivers side, I loosened off the wiper fluid/radiator over flow compartment to get to the back of that one.
BUT if you mean marker lights as in the lights that are on top of the cab then they should just pop off. I believe that they have small tabs on the sides to hold them in.
Hope this helps !!!

Izzyeddy is right. Move the battery or windshield washer tank the just twist and pull the socket, just like a headlight. They are a pain in the *** but the shop must have been really lazy to not do it. Don't go to them for any major work.
