Needing a little help.

Hey guys I just got a 1993 f150 5.0 4x4 and I was wondering if y'all could help me out. When I crank the truck it won't turn over and start me and my dad think it's the fuel filter and it's not getting gas to the engine. Has anyone had a problem with this before on their truck? If so please help.

If it won't "turn over" the battery is dead.........

If it turns over but won't start, you either have no spark or no fuel. Have you checked for spark? Have you tried spraying starting fluid into the intake?

The battery is fully charged and we spray starting fluid in it and it started but then cut off after idling for a few minutes. That's why we think it's the fuel filter

Then change it! That's pretty easy. Should be done every 30k anyway.
