Regear choice

I have a 92 f150 with a 3.08 open i would like to swap to a 4.10 lsd. Im just wondering what are my options to do this without paying $1k. I can find a sterling with a 4.10 lsd, but i would have to convert to 8 lug which i dont mind or find a 8.8 with a 3.55lsd and have someone put the gears in for me. I want to make this easy and cheap. I do plan to do a d44 sas in the future.
Option A : pay to have mine swapped to a 4.10 lsd. Which it doesnt need to be rebuilt because i only have 26k miles on it.
Option B: grab a sterling and convert to 8 lug.
option C: Get a 8.8 with a 3.55 lsd and have someone just put gears in it.

You might want to look at local salvage yards and see what they have available. It might be cheaper to swap out the whole rear axle, if you can find one with the gearing you want. Given the age of your truck, that might be a bit easier to do.

That I am not sure of. I am not familiar with the options that were available back then. It is worth looking into though.
