Rebuild advice

Hey guys I have a 92 F-150 5.0 4x4 with a lunched top end. I am throwing in a used 5.0 out of a crow vic for the time being.

I am going to rebuild my roller motor and would like some suggestions of cheap upgrades, where the best place to find , etc....

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just did my 5.0 rebuilt it stock on a budget but was very pleased if I had more money I would have definitely contacted crane cams and got a good upgrade cam grinded lifters and some roller rockers. Everyone raved about the gt40 heads when I was asking for sugestions for mine. look into the MAF conversion if yours wasnt stock with it already SD is decent but i plan to convert soon. A goog timing bump helps get a nice performance coil 9mm wire brass cap and rotor and plugs capped .50. All that being said consider a 351 swap if its in the budget everyone likes that engine better then the 302 more *** better mod options and from what I hear even better fuel econmy and you can usally get them dirt cheap to rebuild.
