changing shift points

Alright so I rebuilt my 302 in my 93 f150 bumped up the timing, cap rotor coil wires plugs etc. put a 4inch lift on it and 33s now it feels like my transmission shifts to early and gets a little to boggy in the low end of the the gears especially in 3rd and 4th if it shifts early at slow speeds.

any suggestions on how to change my shift points to help ride out the gears a little longer. Chip tuner computer anything?

Which transmission? If you don't know, what's the TRANS code on the door jamb sticker?

Depends on your tranny. The AOD (trans code T, and display of PRN(D)D1) is mechanically driven. The E4OD (trans code E, and display of PRN(D)21 with an OD cancel button on the shifter) is controlled by the EEC and you need to reprogram the PSOM for the different tire size. If you don't know how, look here...

Alright so my trans code is T and when I test the psmo it reads E 08 6 and 967CAL.

So I apparently need to change the psmo setting for the bigger tires does anyone know what I need to change it to for 33x12.50's

Does this sound right?

Basically what I really need to know is what my conversion constant should be with 33x12.50's
I have the stock axle but I dont exactly know how to read my door sticker.

You have 3.55 gears. Your stock tires were 29 inch. Hope this helps you do the math.

After doing some math and research it seams 8.59 is the conversion constant I want to go with. Can anyone confirm this?
