Check your under dash fuses and under hood relays. Also, clean all engine and body grounds. If there was any corrosion at all on the battery terminals, there is most likely green gunk underneath the battery cables, which would be remedied with the new cables. Pull the battery, and have it tested, it could have an internal short or bad cell.
