i need help i cant figure out why my truck started this morning just fine and then then at the end of the day i parked it and trired to restart to move. and my ground wire from the block to the fire wall got hot and strted to smoke, the truck would not start but would turn over. Helppp

 

Howdy and welcome to the basement. For sure a bad ground will cause you starting problems. Inspect then swap out the main ground from the battery to the frame to the block and you'll be good to go.
