I was told that i should use a comp cam 268 series cam in my 400 if i don't want to change out my springs. if i do change out my springs what cam would i want to get. any ideas would be helpful.

and depending on the age of the valve springs, it's probably best to go ahead and swap 'em out anyway

 

the 400 is out of my 78 f150 no parts have been installed in it before it is my senior project. some of the things i'm going to do will be head work, new exhaust, new intakes system, i'm thinking about going with some higher compression pistons, and will probably have the cylinders machined out 30 over.
