Thinking of building a N/A 363 with a budget of 10 grand and a goal of 550+ HP. Probably would take a year to build or maybe buy a Ford Racing. Z363 they claim 500hp and 400tq

Sounds like a cool build. I'm assuming its a 351w based engine? $10k sounds like a lot for the power your looking for ,but would be a awesome engine with that kind of coin invested.

Have you thought about how much cheaper it would to use forced induction to get the power levels your looking for?

Either way its fun. What's your parts list look like?

I have a blower on a 308 puts a little less than 500 at the crank but it has 50,000 hard miles on it its almost worn out lol but the dart block is still in good shape I love it no scoring on the walls at all!. Ill probably bore it out to make a 363 I haven't gotten a parts list together yet because it was just a thought I want to ditch the blower and try something new. Hopefully by reusing the same block that will save me about 3 grand.
