ecu help

hey all bin over a year since I was here, I just completed a full auto (4r70w) to a manual (zf5) in my 95 f150 5.0 maf and need to do a computer swap cause it runs like **** with the auto computer, been doin a lot or research and found the t4m0 out of a 94-95 mustang 5.0 manual and 91-93 thunderbird ecu are identical, would it plug right in to my 95 f150 harness? other than needing another o2 sensor it will work right? any input would be awesome!!!

Hmmm, every auto to manual swap I've been a part of, and read on the forums, other than setting some slushbox codes, the motor runs fine with the stick.

Why not just go to napa and get a '94-'95 F-150 MAF 302 computer for an M5OD-R2 truck if you are having problems.

As far as I know all '94+ 302s were MAF stick or slushbox.

In that case, I don't think those 2 I listed would work.

Even at a parts yard, you have to figure out what would be compatible - if you have EEC and MAF but all F-150 302 EEC manuals are SD.

Likely more agressive timing curve on the mustang ECU?

anativid it ran the truck fine but my cel was lit so I had to cheat the computer into thinking there is two o2 sensors by connecting the right o2 input lead to the existing left other than that I didn't change anything else and it runs awesome my mpg shot up to 16 from 12 the first tank full I ran after the computer swap
